Living in Belltown, we’re pretty lucky to have one of the world’s greatest music venues in our hood. As you probably know, The Crocodile draws in national acts and also showcases local artists on an almost nightly basis (plus, the Back Bar has awesome late night 2-for-1 pizza)..
This Saturday night, July 14 at 8:00 p.m., The Crocodile will host another epic show featuring Eldridge Gravy & The Court Supreme, Richie Aldente and The Quick & Easy Boys. This line up is one sure to keep you dancing all night long. Plus, it is hard to go wrong with such a legendary venue, outdoor patio to cool off, excellent eats, and attentive bar staff, especially when tickets are just $10.
And guess what? We’re giving away two tickets to the show!
Richie Aldente was kind enough to give us two tickets to give to one lucky reader. Here’s how to enter (you can enter all three ways):
- Comment on this post and tell us you want to win*
- Tweet “I want to win tickets to @RichieAldente at The Croc from @belltownpeople! http://bit.ly/RACroc“
- Send an email to RichieAldente@gmail.com with subject line “I want to win”
Winner will be chosen at Noon, on 7/14 and contacted shortly after.
Read more about the bands:
Following a sold out show last month in Fremont, local power-funk trio Richie Aldente is ready to get your body moving again. As is their forte, Richie Aldente continue to impress with organic melodies that inspire the dancer within and breezy disco ball merriment that’s truly infectious and never derivative. These three gentlemen are dedicated to getting you dancing, laughing, and having a great time.
Eldridge Gravy & The Court Supreme is a funk juggernaut. Backed by the hot, gritty orchestration of the 12 member Court Supreme, front man Eldridge Gravy easily works dance floors to a fever pitch with his full-bore performance and smooth rapport with the audience. And Seattle Weekly had this to say, “These guys put on one of the best live shows in Seattle.”
The Quick & Easy Boys, a power-trio out of Portland, Oregon, create their own blend of funky R&B, psychedelic rock, and garage pop with a slight pinch of honky-tonk. Imagine the Minutemen, My Morning Jacket and Funkadelic rolled into one.
The Crocodile is located at 2200 2nd Avenue at Blanchard in Belltown. Show starts at 8p.m., advanced tickets are $10 and can be purchased here.
*If you enter via comments, please check back tomorrow at Noon to see the announced winner. We don’t have a way of contacting you directly.
