The City of Seattle is asking residents to help the police and city officials “provide effective and responsive police services” by participating in a quick survey.
The survey, which will take about 15 minutes to complete, will help the police department determine which neighborhoods need more police presence. The survey is very straight forward, multiple choice with additional write in responses.
Some sample questions include:
- “What are the most serious crime problems in your neighborhood?”
- “In terms of regular police patrols, would you say that your neighborhood gets more than it needs, about the right amount, or not enough?”
- How safe do you feel walking alone in your neighborhood after dark?
The survey also asks your individual opinion on police brutality, reactions and policy and the obligatory classification questions.
If you have some time, let the city know your opinion!
