We actually liked this place a lot - while the menu may be overpriced, it's one of the few restaurants I've been to where you can just tell them something you want - like a antipasti tray with a side of Aiglio Olio pasta and they will make it for you. And for some reason when you order like that, it's cheap! I hope it pulls through and doesn't close. Would be a big loss for the area! |

Malevitsis denied the allegations today, saying "there is nothing to prove," adding "at any one moment, people could be owed money, people could owe me money." He did say he "(wishes) it would be busier." What a random response to not paying your employees? If you search under King 5 website or follow this link http://www.king5.com/news/local/59790197.html it will tell you more about this closure. It's kind of disgusting how Malevitsis blows off the people who depended on him. He use to own the Axis and I remember how arrogant he was and how he often miss treated his employees. Its funny how humble he acts now. I'm sure it is game over for Malevitsis ever making a come back to the fine dining business. Maybe he could take lessons from corner hotdog stand or bikini coffee stands on how to run an MORE honest establishment. Hopefully vendors will still work with this tool or our SS will have to take care of his has been "BIG" time lifestyle. |
